Get a flawless manicure quickly thanks to drying in an LED/UV lamp. Drying times depend on the type of lamp and, at Manicura24, we recommend drying for 60 seconds in UV/LED light, 90 seconds in LED light and 120 seconds in UV light.

Steps to apply a semi-permanent polish

1. Preparing the natural nail: File gently to give the desired shape, pass the buffing block over the nail to remove natural shine and add porosity and remove the skin from the cuticles if necessary.
2. Preparation liquids: For oily nails, a dehydrating liquid such as Nailprep is recommended. Applying an acid-free primer such as Ultra-Bond Primer is essential to ensure adhesion of the products applied later. Both liquids dry quickly in the air.
3. Permanent nail polish base: spread an even layer of base coat over the entire nail and cure in the lamp for the recommended time.
4. Semi-permanent nail polish color: apply a first layer of semi-permanent nail polish, making sure it is thin and uniform, and dry in the lamp for the indicated time. Apply a second layer of color, ensuring complete coverage, and dry again in the lamp.
5. Top Coat or finisher: apply a layer of top coat to seal the color and give a shiny finish. Cure the gloss layer in the UV/LED lamp. If the top coat has a dispersion layer (sticky residue), clean it with Cleaner (specific cleaner) to remove the residue. achieve a perfect, residue-free finish. If you prefer, you can opt for a matte finisher.

Steps to remove semi-permanent polish

1. File the top coat layer: use a file to remove the top coat (finisher).
2. Soak cotton pads with remover liquid: Dampen cotton pads with Premium Remover. Place the cotton pads on each nail and cover with aluminum foil, which will help keep the heat in, speeding up the process. Leave it on for 15-18 minutes. Remove Wraps are very useful for saving time.
3. Removing the nail polish: Once the time has passed, remove the aluminium foil and cotton. Using a cuticle pusher or an orange stick, gently remove any traces of semi-permanent polish.

If your semi-permanent manicure is done with Volume Base or Rubber Base, we recommend removing the polish using an electric drill or hand file to carefully wear down the polish until it is completely removed.
